23rd Annual Conference on Medical Care for Persons with Developmental Disabilities - Promoting Quality Healthcare
The primary objectives of this conference are:
1) To increase knowledge about health and mental health services for
persons who have been diagnosed as having both an intellectual
disability and a mental health disorder, including providing the
appropriate services for individuals who may have been
misdiagnosed.
2) To increase knowledge of state-of-the-art services and treatment
modalities to improve the medical and dental health and well-being
of persons with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.
3) To increase knowledge of services for older adults with intellectual
and other developmental disabilities, including healthcare access for
persons who have both Medicaid and Medicare (the dual eligibles).
